Kaaira Gupta is a junior undergrad pursuing her Bachelor of Technology with a Major in Geophysics and a Minor in Computer Science. She is exploring different domains of Computer Science and has a good command over Data Structures and Algorithms. She has tried Android development, Deep Learning, and she got an opportunity to work for the kernel (Linux media) and libcamera through Outreachy internship. She finds Kernel-dev to be the most exciting of all technologies she has tried to date. She has taken up an Operating Systems course in college and was very excited to find its practical applications through this internship. This practical approach made her appreciate the intricacies of the course and she would like to work more on it. She likes to learn about different cultures and cherishes the opportunity to do so through Open Source. She is driven by her passion for coding and collaborating with talented people from around the globe.
