Klaus Jensen is a software engineer with a background in academia. He has worked in the state-of-the-art area of High Performance Computing, avoided users as an old school conservative UNIX sysop, written a Ph.D. thesis on tape and been involved in the OpenChannel SSD community, and recently, in the proliferation of NVMe Zoned Namespaces. He is involved in the NVMe community as a technical proposal co-author and maintainer of the QEMU emulated NVMe device and the libvfn library. At Samsung Electronics in Denmark, he is working on open source engineering related to NVMe emulation and the NVMe software stack.
